( SHUI TAKESHI )
The wind blew softly over the mirror lake, the trees around it reflected off the still surface and the blue sky above showed clearly, as if looking into a different world. The sound of many starly over head came to the ears of any around as a flock flew over and landed in the trees, disappearing from site. Shui smiled slightly as she watched them, her deep blue eyes held a glimmer of love and just excitement as she pulled her legs up to her chest and smiled as she watched the wild pokemon on the other side of lake play and just have fun.
She jumped when she felt something behind her and turned to see Hourdour and Quilava sitting there, both of them had fallen asleep, while Ekan and Staravia were sitting beside the edge of the lake, Ekan fishing with his tail and it seemed Staravia was bickering at him. Shui was finding it rather funny, but she just set there and looked at the lake and enjoying herself to the fullest. Ekan let out a screech, causing the Houndour and Quilava to awaken and then the Staravia to take flight into the air, but Shui just looked at the Ekan who was trying to toss something from her tail. ”Niobe!”
Shui stood and walked over to the snake pokemon, who as soon as Shui sat down was in her lap, head buried into her chest. Shui carefully pulled her tail from the lake and saw on the end a small magikarp that had grabbed hold. She took the end of the tail and carefully removed the fish pokemon from the tail of Niobe, who as soon as the fish was off of her tail was acting like a baby in the arms of Shui. Shui held the small pokemon, who was like a big, spoiled baby, and held the ekan in her arms while it got over the small biting fish. Quilava walked over towards Shui and looked up with a disapproving look. ”Sorry Fulton, you know how Niobe is.” He just nodded quickly and then returned to Houndour who had already fallen asleep. Shui just set back down and cradled the snake pokemon and soon it was sleeping. She could not believe how spoiled this Ekan was! She hoped that when it finally evolved that it matured a bit more.[/blockquote] ( WORD COUNT ) 0.395 ( TAGGED ) NONE ( COMMENTS ) ^_^ ( CREDITS ) Template made by ME[/blockquote]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][bg=3b6c70] JUST TAKE YOUR OVER-ACTIVE EGO & SHRINK IT DOWN LIKE A MOSQUITO ♥ SHE HADN'T GONE down to the lake in quite some time, but now that she was here, the pink haired female didn't find it nearly as amazing as she once had. behind her, her large companion pokemon, Volcan, trailed along sniffing everything it could get it's large yellow paws on. For a serious-natured pokemon, that Typhlosion was so... curious. Jaklynne scoffed at the pokemon and beckoned it along, calling it's name softly as she closed the distance between herself and the lake. Upon reaching the lake, the young trainer let out all of her pokemon, calling them by name: "August, Pea, Lucky," she threw her pokeballs: Aggron, Weavile, and Lucario respectively flew into action, all ready for battle until realizing there wasn't a single opposing pokemon. They stared down at the pink-haired girl with surprise.
"Sorry guys, no battling today," she murmured, looking at her reflection in the water. "Just some good old fashion fun," Jaklynne nearly scoffed at the word. Fun. As if. She had a title as pokemon master to claim, so there really wasn't time for 'fun', but Volcan wasn't in the mood for battling, and the young teen would do anything to keep her Typhlosion happy and healthy. Lucario's battle the other day, too, had him off the battlefield while his ankle healed from a minor twist. They all trained so hard for Jaklynne, she deserved to do something great for them, too.
The pink-haired girl watched her Aggron, August, munching on flowers and Pea, her Weavile splashing around in the clear water. She smiled happily. They seemed to be having so much fun. Even Volcan who was taking a nap in a warm patch of sunlight and Lucky who was licking himself clean. It was good not to train once in a while. To take a day off. Jaklynne stared at herself in the water and ran her hands through her unusually colored hair. She hummed a soft melody as she threw it gently up into a pony tail before taking it down again. She settled for a long braid that hung loosely over her shoulder and was pinning back her pink bangs when something splashed in the water in front of her. She looked down to see a Magikarp swimming slowly down into the depths of the water.
Turning to where the Magikarp had come from, the young teen spotted another female cradling her pokemon. Jaklynne got up and wandered over. Volcan's eyes popped open and followed his trainer's movements. From the corner of his eye, Volcan spotted a Quilava, his pre-evolved form. He, too, wandered over to sniff out the other pokemon.
Jaklynne took one look at the girl and easily noticed the red headed stranger wasn't as old as she was - or even as talented, judging by the size of her pathetic snake pokemon. "Wow, an Ekans..." she said in a most sarcastic tone, "How pathetic," she tossed her braid over her shoulder with a smirk. Being rude to people was one of Jaklynne's specialties, though surely not a good trait, it was one of the things the pink-haired girl loved most.
"Really, you must be a new trainer or something, because only the weak carry around pokemon like that" sure it was a bit rude the way the words came out of Jaklynne's mouth, but honestly, it was true. Jaklynne didn't know of many good trainers who carried the snake-like pokemon or its evolved form in their parties.
"If you're that into poison-types, why not use a Muk instead of that lame excuse for a pokemon?" |
Jaklynne asked curiously. It sounded horrible, sure, but the older female really was wondering why the other girl didn't just use something stronger. The possibility of the girl not being able to catch a Grimer or a Muk seemed limited. She did, after all, go to the best pokemon academy in the world... she couldn't be that bad, right? (silent) (hissing) (watching) (growling)
( SHUI TAKESHI )
Niobe set in her arms, actually asleep in her arms, though it’s eyes were wide open, she could tell it was asleep. Houndour, also known as Ursa, had woken when Fulton had laid down not far from Shui and Staravi, also known as Kenta was just sitting on the ground not far from Shui. She smiled, laying back slightly and allowing her hand to rub over Niobe’s head slowly, stroking her back, giving her all the attention she wanted while she slept. The skies above were showing so many pictures in the sky and as she was about to drift into her own nap, she heard what sounded like someone talking and looked to see four pokemon… A large Typhlosion, Aggron, Weavile, and Lucario… Strong pokemon… She smiled as she looked back at the sky and then heard something… Something walking over towards her and not only that, Houndour and Quilava were both standing and had moved closer towards her.
Shui set up and saw a girl, pink hair coming over towards them, along with the large Typhlosionm but Shui just held her Ekans, right before it slithered out of her hands and over to Staravia who was watching the scene. Shui smiled at Niobe and then looked at Houdour and Quilava slightly, wondering what the two pokemon were thinking. ”Wow, an Ekans…” She heard the sarcastic tone and turned her head slightly, narrowing her deep blue eyes before standing and looking at Niobe who hissed loudly before curling around Shui’s ankle. ”How Pathetic,” The houndour growled loudly and Shui looked at Ursa and snapped her finger quickly, causing her to look over at her trainer and sit down. ”Yea, it’s a Ekan, so what?”
Shui said back coldly. Fulton set down beside her feet and looked up at the next stage of growing and also the pink haired lady. ”Really, you must be a new trainer or something, because only the weak carry around pokemon like that” Shui narrowed her eyes at the rude woman and just rolled her eyes. ”Maybe I don’t care about strong pokemon, maybe I want to love and spend time with my pokemon and work our way to the top slowly.” She knew what the school was about, but this girl was already getting on her own lady nerve. Ekan bit the corner of her pants and pulled down, causing Shui to snap her attention down to Niobe and leaned down, picking her snake pokemon up and cradling the spoiled pokemon in her arms. She would actually miss cradling her when she evolved. "If you're that into poison-types, why not use a Muk instead of that lame excuse for a pokemon?" Shui rolled her eyes and felt Niobe puff up, hiss wildly and then also heard Houndour growled just as wildly. Shui glanced over at him and he lowered his head and laid down cautiously. ”Maybe I like have the pokemon who are considered weak instead of going for those… I actually love my pokemon and I enjoy spending time with my pokemon that does not involve battling.” They were a pack, like wolves, they stuck together like glue, through thick and thin. She petted Niobe’s head and looked down at Fulton who just set down there silently and watching mostly the Houndour.[/blockquote] ( WORD COUNT ) 0.549 ( TAGGED ) NONE ( COMMENTS ) ^_^ ( CREDITS ) Template made by ME[/blockquote]

Ivy surely had come at a bad time. With every step, she could hear more words being tossed back and forth. This wasn't the day she had been looking forward too. Nope, not one bit. Her ear's perked a bit, hearing Jaklynne's voice. The two were in the same year. Jakylnne could easily be a bitch, and Ivy knew she enjoyed it. Ivy didn't really hate or like her. To be truthful though, Ivy did enjoy that Jaklynne was like herself, where she always spoke her mind. Sadly though, Ivy didn't agree with her thoughts on what pokemon were strong and not strong.
Ivy looked down to Ray, her Shinx, than to Percy her Haunter. Percy was definitely enjoying the sounds of the fighting. He was always attracted to tense situations. Sure, they weren't exactly fighting yet, but you could sense it was about to happen soon enough. Ivy was finally in sight and could see the two people better. She looked to Ray, they both exchanged unsure looks. The small girl wasn't known to Ivy. Ivy shrugged it off assuming the girl was a first year, maybe even a second year. Fact is, Ivy didn't care about that at the moment.
"Hey Jaklynne." Ivy greeted her classmate, more just to let them know she was there. "Why don't you back off a bit, eh?" Ivy said, trying to keep things somewhat relaxed. She always felt bad for the the younger girls that Jaklynne could so easily bring down. Ivy stood a few feet away from the group, not wanting to be in the middle. It was a psychological, subconscious thing, no doubt. If you got close, they think you will be in it. If you stand near one more than the other, they think you've taken sides.
Poor ekans...Ivy thought. She actually liked snake pokemon. Sure, they weren't the most strongest pokemon off that bat. That didn't matter though, they sure were quick for one thing. Plus, as a future breeder, Ivy really wasn't looking for the strongest pokemon. Ivy looked down at her bare feet. She was coming to relax, so shoes weren't necessary. Not yet at least, the weather was still nice enough. Ivy looked back to the two girls, hoping her presence would just send the two girls separate.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=width,450,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][bg=3b6c70] JUST TAKE YOUR OVER-ACTIVE EGO & SHRINK IT DOWN LIKE A MOSQUITO ♥ JAKLYNNE LAUGHED LOUDLY, shaking her head in obvious dislike of the redhead. Here the pink-haired girl was merely trying to be nice to the wimp of a bitch in front of her, and the girl - who's name Jaklynne couldn't even remember off the top of her head - was being an obnoxious twit.
”Maybe I don’t care about strong pokemon, maybe I want to love and spend time with my pokemon and work our way to the top slowly.
Jaklynne shook her head. She couldn't believe the words she was hearing. This girl was obviously a pathetic excuse for a student, and wondered how the girl had ever managed to get into such a prestigious academy. She was too disturbingly similar to Jaklynne's sister (who probably only got an invitation to the school because Jaklynne did - or so she believed). The older female ran her hand through her pink hair before resting it on her hip. "Well you obviously aren't doing a very good job of that," she noted, shaking her head slowly. She laughed at the other girl's pathetic pokemon.
And was that nasty old snake hissing at her? One swipe from her Typhlosian, Volcan, and that pathetic pokemon would be all but destroyed. Jaklynne rolled her eyes when the redhead opened her mouth to speak again. ”Maybe I like have the pokemon who are considered weak instead of going for those… I actually love my pokemon and I enjoy spending time with my pokemon that does not involve battling.”
"And maybe you're on a one-way trip to loser-ville," |
Jaklynne taunted, she grabbed a pokeball from her waistband and tossed it into the air. It dropped onto her shoulder and rolled down her arm before once again landing in her hand. Jaklynne did this several times, each time adding another trick to the toss, "You can't honestly expect to stay here with that response, I thought this was an academy for training pokemon, not sitting around sipping tea with weak little babies," she mused, entertained by how few opportunities the other girl would have in life. She could be a world-class pokemon trainer, but instead, she wanted to play around with her wimpy pokemon. "And don't act like you're the only one who picks your pokemon for who they are, Loser," Jaklynne snapped, noting what the girl had said about having pokemon she truly wanted to be around. While Jake was considerably rude to her fellow students and teammates, she loved her pokemon more than anything, and wanted them to be the best they could be - of course, they were all considerably strong pokemon, but that didn't mean they weren't her best friends. "You see, I - unlike you - spend time training my pokemon. You do realize that pokemon like to battle each other, so it's actually fun for them - unlike sitting around all the time doing nothing," she stated. Her voice was much less filled with scorn as it had been a few minutes ago. Jaklynne was merely stating a fact; after all, if she was the type of trainer to let her pokemon sit around and nap all day, they'd have been long gone by now in search of a better trainer. Pokemon loved to battle each other, that was one of the reasons battling was such a large pasttime in the world - it was fun for them, no just for their trainers. Right? At that point, someone else seemed to have joined the other two at the lake, and now had joined in the conversation. Jaklynne scowled, she hated being seen with too many losers at once. She turned around to see a girl from her year, Ivy, whom she wasn't particularly friends with. Or rather, tried not to be. After all, she was just another weak little girl, though unlike the redhead second year, Ivy at least had pokemon that were, well, strong. "Hey Jaklynne." Ivy greeted, Jaklynne waved in a most sarcastic way, not entirely thrilled to be surrounded by people she didn't want to consider her friends, "Why don't you back off a bit, eh?"Jaklynne flinched inwardly and Volcan let out a soft "Phlooo," at the other girl's slight attitude. If there was one thing Jaklynne hated, it was people who were clearly weaker than her butting into her business. Here, she was trying to have a conversation with a girl in a younger year - even help the girl - and Ivy wanted to step in and stop her. No fucking way! Jaklynne rolled her eyes, "Well, aren't you special? You think you can get me to back off? she asked. The corners of her lips curved upward into a sneer, "You can't do a damn thing to stop me, Ivy, just face it," sure, it was a pretty rude thing to say, but Jaklynne didn't really know what the boundaries were between sweet and innocent and rude and tempestuous - after all, the line was pretty blurred. ( SHUI TAKESHI )
Shui could tell the girl was far more a bitch then she had expect, but she did not care. She stroked her hand down Niobe’s neck and looked at Fulton who rolled his eyes at the pink haired girl and Shui nodded down at the Quilava, his body sitting beside her feet. The houndour looked at the pink haired girl in disgust. Shui lowered her hand from Niobe and stroked the dark pokemon’s head, allowing her to relax at her own finger tips. Kenta just watched in interest and let out a low sound of boredom. ”Kenta, no need to get too bored, we will be heading out soon, looks like out day of relaxation was ruin by a much too confident girl anyway.”
She said over her shoulder, Ursa growling in agreement and Shui thumping her ear. Fulton turned and walked over to the relaxing Kenta and then looked back at Shui. ”Qui-lava!” She smiled over her shoulder once more. Shui turned pointed towards the other two, still holding Niobe who was wanting more attention and had slithered up Shui’s arm and to her neck, where she was allowing her tongue to tickle behind her ear. Shui pulled her from her neck and placed her on the ground, pointing to the others. Niobe hissed in dislike and just joined the other pokemon before Shui looked back at the girl. ”Well you obviously aren't doing a very good job of that," Shui rolled her eyes and looked at the girl before turning and walking over to her pokemon. She was not going to allow her day of relaxation with her pokemon be ruined by a stupid third year. Niobe raised her head as Shui lowered herself to her pokemon and she chuckled as Niobe licked her nose. ”I love you too Niobe… Very much… Now, you say with Kenta, ya hear?” The snake pokemon hissed slightly and then licked her nose again before going over and curling up in front of Kenta. ”And maybe you're on a one-way trip to loser-ville," She looked up at the girl for a moment and then allowed the houndour over to her and she stroked her head and allowed her to nuzzle her nose to Shui’s cheek. She looked at the girl and then back at the houndour, Ursa, and smiled at her for a moment. ”Maybe I am, maybe I’m not, so push off, first day out of the week we get to relax and you seem to think you run everything, well why don’t you go and find someone else you might get a battle from, because I already promised Fulton here no battling today, just relaxing.” Fulton nodded quickly as Ursa passed him and then joined Kenta and Niobe. Fulton however stayed with Shui as she stood and looked at the girl. ”You can't honestly expect to stay here with that response, I thought this was an academy for training pokemon, not sitting around sipping tea with weak little babies," She rolled her eyes once again and just shook her head before looking down at Fulton, who kept the most emotionless look on his face. ”That is what I was thinking Fulton… Come on, lets head on back, maybe we can finish our day of rest somewhere else.” Fulton nodded and yawned slightly, having his nap interrupted she did not blame him for being tired. She turned to start heading back, checking her shoe strings and making sure they were tight before she picked up Niobe and allowed her to slithering onto her neck. "And don't act like you're the only one who picks your pokemon for who they are, Loser," She laughed slightly and turned her eyes back on the idiot before her and just shook her head, a smile on her face. She could not believe she could be so entertained by the girl. ”Pokemon are only as good as their trainers… Must mean your pokemon are weakminded bitches like you.” She said, earning her a nod from Ursa, who received another thump on the ear by Shui. She jumped and growled slightly before looking down. ”Don’t you dare repeat, ya hear?” Ursa nodded quietly and then Shui looked over her shoulder for a moment at the girl. Kenta opened his beautiful wings and Shui chuckled at the pokemon, unable to help it since he was surely showing off his large wings. Shui shook her head and allowed her hand to rub over his own head and tickled under his beak. ”You see, I - unlike you - spend time training my pokemon. You do realize that pokemon like to battle each other, so it's actually fun for them - unlike sitting around all the time doing nothing," Shui looked over at the girl for a moment and then back at her pokemon, smiling slightly as she felt Niobe tickle her neck. ”Wow! Your smart? And I thought you were stupid… Look, I know what pokemon enjoy, but I know that working them to death is stupid and we take one day out of the weak to rest.” She rolled her eyes slightly and then looked over at Fulton and smiled at him for a moment. ”Fulton, do you like battling everyday, or do enjoy the days we rest.” He shook his head quickly at the idea of battling and then to answer resting he curled up in a ball and almost fell asleep before popping back up and looked at Shui. She smiled and chuckled slightly before she saw another third year join them. Great, another bitch to help them out in their battle to make Shui move. Honestly, that was what Shui was thinking at this point. They wanted to cause problems to get one of two things, for her to move on or for her to battle. Well, she was not going to battle today, she had made a promise to her pokemon. Niobe continued to lick her neck and caused her to have to push the snake pokemon away for a moment. ”Hey Jaklynne.” Oh, so that was the idiots name. She thought it was slightly weird, but Shui did not say anything. ”Why don't you back off a bit, eh?" Shui pulled up her hand and shook her head. ”No, she got what she wanted… She tried to ruin our day of relaxation that we do every week and she does not want us here, I get it, so we are heading out.” Shui said as she stood the rest of the way up and turned towards her pokemon. She looked at the other girl for a moment and rolled her eyes before looking back at the pokemon again. She started to go on, Kenta flying into the air, Ursa walked ahead and Fulton kept at Shui’s pace and Niobe just curled around her neck. ”Well, aren't you special? You think you can get me to back off?” Shui rolled her eyes, though she was walking away at this point, she was still plenty close to hear the idiot. ”You can't do a damn thing to stop me, Ivy, just face it," This girl was a control freak and the other one went low enough to allow her to control her, or so it seemed. Ivy smirked as she watched Jaklynne try to prove that she was the best one. Ivy shook her head slightly. It was crazy, she was crazy. Yes, Jaklynne is definitely one nut job. Something about her drove her insane, she wanted to punch the kid. Though, Ivy was just too laid back. Why start things? No one needed obnoxious drama in their lives. It was over the stop annoying. This academy was full of it, drama queens and kings. No doubt there were almost as many kings as there were queens.
Ivy chuckled a bit as the girl tried to get a rise out of her. "You're right. There isn't much I can do about it. You're always going to be the biggest bitch in the school. You're always going to try to show people how great you are. Even though, you're awful and a complete joke." Ivy told her, in her oh so chilled back voice. Ivy didn't even sway in her movement. Percy, the Haunter, clapped as he hovered over his trainer. He always enjoyed tension.
Ivy shrugged as she watched the younger girl get up. While the girl seemed to be giving in a bit by leaving so easily, she couldn't disagree it wasn't the smartest thing to do. There was no point in trying to persuade Jaklynne or prove her wrong on anything. She was a stubborn mule. Ivy let out a sigh. Questioning where else she may find to meditate. Maybe it would be better to exercise instead. No, certainly not. Today was their day to lay back. Ivy looked from the younger girl, than back to Jaklynne. Wondering if this was over.((Sorry, its short.))
