[notes]Stephanie has been with Patrick since he first started the academy. At first she was rather shy around Patrick. As time went on though, she became quite accepting of him. Stephanie reminds Patrick of his mother. She’s always walking beside him, picking up the things he’s dropped, making sure the other pokemon obey him. He’s too soft on her, but she does know her way around the battlefield. She may not be the strongest of the bunch, but she’s almost always determined to help Patrick in a battle. Especially when she’s been provoked.

[notes] Maggie is probably the most high-strung of Patrick’s pokemon. She’s rather picky about everything in her life. The food she eats, who she battles with, and all sorts of other things. Patrick had to deal with many angry scratches to the face when he first caught her in the woods. After two years together they’ve become much better at knowing what the other is thinking, though sometimes Maggie will mess up something of his just to see his reaction. She’s good at offensive attacks and gets along best with Stephanie, which is why he uses the two the most for team battles.

[notes] Matthew would much rather be sleeping in Patrick’s room than battling. Despite having defensive skills higher than the others on the team, he’s the laziest. Patrick found Matthew when he was just a magnemite. The two are on good terms, but Matthew will disobey him sometimes if he feels Patrick’s orders don’t make sense. Matthew can often be heard sighing heavily whenever he’s out with Patrick.

[notes] The calmest of all of Patrick’s pokemon, Joshua is Patrick’s only water pokemon. Balanced when it comes to offensive and defensive moves, Patrick may even be his strongest. This is because Patrick trains him the hardest. Their relationship is second only to Stephanie’s relationship with Patrick. Joshua is the peace-maker of the group, though he’s often ignored by the other eclectic-type pokemon. He gets along best with Anubis, Patrick’s Arcanine, but Patrick had to put Anubis in the pokemon center for a while so he could train Matthew some more.
