WELCOME to Oak Academy, a large academy located on an island off the coast of England, Elm Island. And while the weather isn't the most decent, and the school seems to be under a constant blanket of clouds, it's known world wide for it's brilliant students. These aren't your average students, either - no, the students that attend Oak Academy don't excel in Math or English classes, but rather, in pokemon training.
Only those with great promise are accepted into Oak Academy, and anyone who can't take the pressure is asked to leave immediately. Do you have what it takes to become the next pokemon master? Good luck ~!
ASHTON - your friendly creator and administrator. she's seventeen years old (turning eighteen!) and a senior in high school. she loves instant ramen and may or may not have a slight obsession with naruto. ashton is online every day, and is quite the avid staff member. her favorite pokemon are luxray, arcanine, and lucario.
CORAL - your average co-admin with nothing better to do than help ashton take over the world. she, too, is seveteen years old and a senior in high school. she's the smart one, and is a bit of a perfectionist in school. she's also the ditsy admin. she can sew, like, really well, and wants to be a fashion designer! her favorite pokemon are empoleon and quagsire.

THREAD TRACKER [justify]the thread tracker is a simple means of keeping all of your character's shit organized. it is merely optional, however, definitely recommended if you are like ash and can't remember where all your threads are and what little trinkets your character may posses. [/justify]
FIRST FLOOR (3 sub-boards) [justify]upon entering oak academy, one comes face to face with the school's entrance hall where students come to meet up with one another between classes, or simply just hang out. the first floor is also home to the headmaster's office, as well as the grand ballroom with it's shiny marble floors and golden decorations. [/justify]

SECOND FLOOR (2 sub-boards) [justify]a marble staircase extends from the first floor's entrance hall to the second floor. the primary function of the second floor is the dining hall where students have their meals each day. the secondary function is a large room opposite the dining hall where students may leave their school bags while not in class. [/justify]
THIRD FLOOR (3 sub-boards) [justify]the third floor is the first floor of classes at oak academy. here you will find your beginning trainers-ed class, as well as some more advanced classes in the art of pokemon training. the library is also located on the third floor for referencing when necessary. THE BASEMENT (1 sub-board) [justify]the basement of oak academy is for practice battles. there are various training rooms and practice rooms for students and their pokemon to use in order to perfect their moves and techniques. [/justify]
NORTH TOWER [justify]the north tower is home to all of the student dorms. the dorms are split by gender and switch gender every floor. there is a common room on each floor for students to hang out in. the dorms higher up in the tower are usually reserved for upperclassmen, while the dorms at the bottom are given to the first years and unlucky seconds. [/justify]

THE GROUNDS
BIRCH STADIUM [justify]while oak academy doesn't have normal school sports, it does have birch stadium where tournaments take place to ready the students for pokemon league challenge of their region. the stadium is also home to different activities year-round for school spirit. [/justify]

BATTLE TECHNIQUE 101 [justify]battle technique 101 is everybody's favorite class at oak academy. here students learn how to battle; students train all year on strategies for single and double battles with the help of their awesome teachers. and the best part about the final exam: a battle against your peers. whether you win or loose, your grade is determined by your communication with your pokemon and your strategies used. [/justify]

ROWAN LAKE [justify]rowan lake lies on the outskirts of the academy's grounds. it's a large lake where students may swim in during the warmer months of the year, as well as sail, or even train their water pokemon. the banks of the lake are covered in lush green grass, and the docks aren't a bad place to hang out. [/justify]
IN TOWN (3 sub-boards) [justify]while the town isn't very large, it's a great place for students to escape to after a long week of classes. the town is small, but definitely homey, not yet influenced by the mcdonalds and wal-marts of the rest of the world. [/justify]
ISSHU BEACH (1 sub-board) [justify]isshu beach is the perfect place for a weekend vacation - that is, if weather permits. the water is normally a wee bit cold, but that's never much of a problem for teenagers who just want a fun day off from school and work. [/justify]
RESIDENTIAL HOMES [justify]while most students come from regions around the world, many professors reside permanently on the island so they can be close to work and still live at home. the residential area of the island is quite nice - quiet, but nice - and the homes aren't that bad at all, though the rent is a wee bit high in some areas. [/justify]
