because the weather is, in general, quite crappy around elm island, many people come to the beach simply to go to the boardwalk and shop with friends or waste hours at the arcade kicking ass in video games.

isshu beach is the perfect place for a weekend vacation - that is, if weather permits. the water is normally a wee bit cold, but that's never much of a problem for teenagers who just want a fun day off from school and work.
